Purple Day๐Ÿ’œ

Purple Day is observed every year on March 26 to raise awareness about epilepsy and support people living with the condition.

๐Ÿ’œ What itโ€™s about

Founded in 2008 by a young Canadian girl, Cassidy Megan
Aims to educate people about epilepsy, a neurological condition that causes seizures
Encourages open conversation and reduces stigma

๐Ÿ’œ Why purple?

Purple (especially lavender) symbolizes isolation, reflecting how people with epilepsy can sometimes feelโ€”and the day promotes breaking that isolation.
